This Week in 1st Grade

This week in first grade, we learned about the Green Sea turtle! Did you know they can hold their breath up to 1 hour under water?

We also came up with creative adjectives, verbs and prepositional phrases to help write about the Great White Shark!
-Endangered misunderstood great white sharks dive in the coral reef.

We also started working on our class paragraph about the great white shark. We still have some more work to do, but we have a great start... as you can see below!

Here are a few of our team task pictorials we did on our Australian animals!

Animal Kingdom Visit by Aabha

When I was in animal kingdom, me and my family went on a safari. I saw lots of animals that lived in Africa. the animals were the okapi, giraffe, lion, lioness, African elephant, ring, cheataa, hippo, spotted dogs, antelope, spring buck, crocodiles, and zebras. We also saw a baobab tree. We went on a ride called expedition everest. It was very fun to go to animal kingdom! There was also a lion guard festival! I really enjoyed animal kingdom!
